Shop the picnic in the park style:
Last Saturday, I attended a beautiful picnic hosted by The Kittchen, Snap Kitchen and West Elm Chicago. This picnic in the park took place at Oz Park, a beautiful green space in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park. I have never been nor heard about it before, but it was such a cute place… filled with Oz statues. This event was right next to the Dorothy statue! It was something out of a storybook
The decoration was breathtaking! The reclaimed wood tables were filled with beautiful dinning ware, the prettiest faux-candles ever and the most breath-taking chairs! As I’m looking for two chairs for my new office, I felt just like the Mad Hatter, changing seats and trying them all! The biggest problem was that they were all comfortable and beautiful! West Elm even prepared a little seating are with comfy poufs and candles. And after this event, I left really inspired to throw a little backyard picnic!
The food was from Snap Kitchen, a store that has all kinds of healthy foods to go. It was really good and so colorful! I have a big sweet tooth, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that my favorite things were their gluten-free brownies and the coconut macaroons (not pictured because I devoured them!). They have a huge variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, and even drinks! Their green tea was delicious and perfect when paired with the lunch and dessert. I’m so glad I got introduced to them as it will be my go-to lace for fast/healthy food and snacks.
