A few weeks ago my husband purchased a lot of spinach… A LOT! After checking several recipes, I decided to make one by my own. With a little memory from a spinach pie I used to have in Argentina and the help of all the ingredients in my fridge, I managed to make a pie that turned out deliciously good! The texture was a little bit creamy, because of the frozen spinach I used. For different textures you can try different kinds of spinach and maybe adding starch or maybe even jell-o?
– Spinach 250gr – Ricotta 250 gr – 1 bag of Parmesan cheese – 1tsp of salt – 1 egg – 1 onion – 1 garlic toe – Pie dough
– Mix all the ingredients together… and put the mix inside the pie! Then use the rest of the dough to close the pie. A cute detail I love to add is heart or animal shapes made with the leftover dough and used to decorate the pie 🙂
– Bake for as long as it is instructed on the dough’s packaging.
